Ingolstadt, 28.04.2010: Today, further proceeds collected from the employees of Media-Saturn in the raffle at the year-end party 2009 were presented to 14 select non-profit organizations in the Ingolstadt region thus serving a good cause.
The representatives of 14 non-profit organizations in the region today received donations checks in the amount of € 3,000 each from Roland Weise, CEO of Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH, and Leopold Stiefel, shareholder and former Managing Director of the Media-Saturn Group.
In the second round, the donations went to:
• AWO Seniorenzentrum Katharinengarten (senior citizen center), represented by Ralph Bartoschek and Anneliese Hauf
• Deutsche Parkinson Vereinigung (German Parkinson Association), represented by Heinrich Herrler and Monika Sterl
• ELISA - Verein zur Familiennachsorge für schwerst-, chronisch-und krebskranke Kinder e.V. (family post-rehabilitation support for children with chronic illnesses and cancer),
represented by Renate Fabritius-Glaßner and Dr. Florian Wild
• Förderverein für Frauen Ingolstadt e.V. (association supporting women), represented by Gudrun Sticht-Schretzenmayr and Jutta Krause-Wegmann
• Förderverein Gehörlosenzentrum Ingolstadt e.V., (association supporting the deaf)
represented by Katharina Krüger and Alexander Exner
• Förderverein zur Unterstützung Krebskranker Region Ingolstadt e.V., (association supporting patients with cancer) represented by Walburga Majehrke and Christa Jesske
• Förderverein zur Suchtprävention – Elternkreis Ingolstadt, (association for the prevention of addiction – parent association) represented by Ursula Schönauer and Elfriede Metzger-Reichl
• Freiwilligen Agentur Ingolstadt, (volunteer agency) represented by Veronika Peters
• Heilpädagogisches Zentrum Haus Miteinander gGmbH, (social therapy center) represented by Erich Thonhauser
• Insel – Förderverein für psychisch kranke Menschen e.V., (association for mentally ill persons) represented by Gertraud Merkl and Beate Zedelmeier
• Morgentau Kinder e.V., (association supporting hospitalized children) represented by Gabriele Rusch and Nina Vogt
• Regenbogen Wohnen gGmbH, (association for assisted living) represented by Doris Brosig and Andrea Mayer
• Wirbelwind e.V., (association against sexual child abuse) represented by Andrea Teichmann and Maria Speth
• Zamor e.V., (association for stroke patients) represented by Regina Waldmüller

At the first presentation of donations organized two weeks ago as much as € 58,000 from the year-end party raffle proceeds had already been handed over to ten charity organizations in the Ingolstadt region.
