Ingolstadt, 14.04.2010: Celebrating for a good cause - that has been a tradition at the Media-Saturn Group for many years. The proceeds from the raffle held at the group’s year-end party once again benefit charitable organizations in the Ingolstadt region.
Leopold Stiefel, shareholder and former CEO of the Media-Saturn Group, today presented donations to the representatives of ten non-profit organizations in Ingolstadt.
A donation in the amount of 10,000 euros went to each of the following:
• Alzheimer Gesellschaft Ingolstadt e.V., represented by Anke Manthey
• Familien in Not e.V., represented by Sibylle Hertel
• Hollerhaus - Verein für körper- und mehrfachbehinderte Menschen e.V., represented by Claus Gelhorn and Maike Stikarowski
• INGENIUM Stiftung für Menschen mit Demenzerkrankung, represented by Dr. Winfried Teschauer
A donation in the amount of 3,000 euros went to each of the following:
• Behinderten- und Versehrten-Sportverein Ingolstadt e.V., represented by Gerhard Gmeiner and Renate Kärgl
• Caritas-Zentrum St. Vinzenz, represented by Cornelia Eichlinger and Markus Pflüger
• Freunde und Förderer von Menschen mit Behinderung e.V., represented by Dr. Josef Zrenner and Franz Hausner
• Förderverein “Freunde der Sophie-Scholl-Schule”, represented by Stephan Strohmeyer
• Integrations-Kindergarten Hollerstaud’n, represented by Helga Esser and Jutta Homberg
• Hilfe für das behinderte Kind e.V., represented by Franz Schreyer d Ruth Plaumann
“The organizations that we welcome here today help a great many people cope with life in exceptionally difficult situations. We greatly appreciate the work that they do. The employees at Media-Saturn once again participated most enthusiastically in the raffle held at our year-end party, thus making it possible for us today to make a contribution to helping needy people in the region”, said Roland Weise, CEO of Media-Saturn-Holding GmbH.
