Ingolstadt, May 23, 2008: Emotion, technical fascination and soccer will be combined in the new Saturn campaign at the beginning of the UEFA European Championship which starts in two weeks time. Under the motto “Smashing Prices for Electronics Fans!” the consumer electronics chain is launching a multi-media campaign with a high coverage on Saturday, May 24, 2008.
The sports event of the year is approaching. Only two weeks more and everything in Europe will again focus on the ball. Already on this Saturday, Saturn is starting the new campaign that combines emotion, technical fascination and soccer. In addition, the campaign again focuses on top bargains that will be shown on TV by all private and public broadcasting stations with a high coverage.
The campaign will be accompanied by print advertisements, online presentations, radio spots as well as billboards and flyers to present the broad range of bargains. During the whole period, a special zero percent financing is offered for all products. The soccer fever also sweeps through the individual stores from Flensburg to Kempten: Saturn will show its colors by immersing its sales area during the championship in black, red and gold.
The Berlin-based creative agency Scholz & Friends, cooperating with Saturn since 2007, was contracted to mastermind and realize the advertising campaign.
