What made you choose Media-Saturn?
When I applied for my first internship at Media-Saturn, I actually only wanted work at the company for a few weeks to get a little taste. I ended up staying six months - it was time very well spent since it gave me the opportunity to take a look every aspect of the human resources department. And because those six months were so much fun, I decided to write my final thesis at Media-Saturn. I’m especially interested in personnel development - and that’s the area I’m now working in as a student trainee. In the end, it was my internship that pointed me in this direction and helped me decide how I would like to develop career-wise.
Why do you like working for Media-Saturn?
The open and friendly atmosphere here at the company and the opportunity to work on things independently, even as an intern. And I’ve only ever made coffee and photocopied things for myself!
What do you think everyone should know about Media-Saturn?
Acting on your own initiative is what’s wanted here - there’s no hanging on someone’s apron strings. You define objectives together with your colleagues and then you decide how to achieve those objectives. But you’re never alone - your colleagues are always there, ready to help.
What electronic device drives you crazy?
Actually most electrical devices - a typical woman, I guess! But the coffee machine in our office definitely takes first place - we seem to be at war with each other.
