What made you choose Media-Saturn?
After a number of years at Kraft Foods, I wanted to do something completely different. I was looking for a dynamic company that would be able to offer me new perspectives. At that time, I had years of experience in the software sector, but I wanted to expand my horizons and was looking for a position that would allow me to do this. I started working in the Network Management department at Media-Saturn, and I’m now responsible for the management and controlling for one of our largest suppliers, among other things.
What makes your job so exciting?
Because of our high volume of business, my job at Media-Saturn is very varied and challenging. This offers me the chance to expand my areas of competence, and I’m constantly learning something new. The large number of projects being carried out here means that you have the opportunity to make a contribution according to your own particular strengths and capabilities. Media-Saturn’s dynamic growth creates new opportunities and perspectives for us. Here at Media-Saturn, standing still is not a concept we’re familiar with. That makes working here fun and provides great motivation.
What do you think everyone should know about Media-Saturn?
Our stores are the lynchpin of our business. Therefore all our activities have just one objective: to provide support to our colleagues at our foreign subsidiaries and in our stores. It is therefore extremely important that you understand business operations and can provide sensible and efficient solutions.
