What made you choose Media-Saturn?
Electrical products have always fascinated me - on the one hand, the technology behind the products and, on the other hand, how the products are increasingly becoming intertwined. It’s of course great for me to work for a company that is involved with these products. In addition, Media-Saturn advertised a job that fitted my profile exactly and was a really good step forward in my career. I was involved in e-learning during my studies - at that time it was a completely new field. After completing my degree, I supervised an e-learning project at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, I was then an advisor at Germany’s e-learning market leader imc, and after that I worked at Accenture - until I found the job at Media-Saturn.
What exciting projects have you been involved in so far at Media-Saturn?
I’m jointly responsible for the implementation of corporate-wide e-learning activities at an international level. Above all my job involves deciding which content to incorporate and when, whether we should develop and produce content ourselves, whether we should purchase content, which topics are particularly well suited to e-learning, which are better communicated in more conventional ways … and the list goes on and on. It’s all very exciting and is sure to keep me busy for a long time to come.
What do you think everyone should know about Media-Saturn?
I have more influence on the decisions that are made than at any other point in my career - I enjoy that and it motivates me. In my opinion, everyone at Media-Saturn can make a difference, provided that they are committed and enthusiastic.
What electronic device drives you crazy?
Fully-automatic coffee machines - whenever I want to make a cup of coffee in my office, the machine is in the middle of cleaning, descaling or some other maintenance measure…
