What made you choose Media-Saturn?
I ended up at Media-Saturn by way of an internship I did in the Master Data Solutions department. I enjoyed it so much that I worked here as a student trainee after that and also wrote my final thesis here. During that time, I got to know the department, the subject matter involved and my colleagues, and I had a clear idea of what I could expect if I launched my career there. As luck would have it, I was able to start working here right after I finished my degree.
Why do you like working for Media-Saturn?
The team that I worked in accepted my as a full-fledged member from day one of my internship even though I was “only” an intern. The opinion and the experience of every individual counts here. What I also especially like is the close cooperation with our international colleagues. Of course different viewpoints often collide - but we’re always able to find common ground because we’re all working towards the same goal: making our stores a success.
What do you think everyone should know about Media-Saturn?
What’s important here is that you’re open and approachable. There are no rigid hierarchies here. We all work together on projects, and we all pull together irrespective of who holds which position. Anyone who prefers working alone in a little room certainly won’t feel at home here because things can get quite turbulent at times, especially when a project is nearing completion.
What electronic device drives you crazy?
My Internet radio - there are so many channels, it’s almost impossible to find the right station.
