What entry level positions do you offer university graduates?
In addition to conventional direct entry, we offer three trainee programs. All our current job openings are listed in our job market, which is updated at regular intervals.
Which courses of study do you prefer when selecting graduates?
We primarily look for graduates who have studied business sciences, law or (business) information technology. However, we also offer students from other courses of study the opportunity of working for the Media-Saturn Group.
What criteria do you apply when selecting applicants?
In the case of university graduates, we place great importance on good grades, a degree that has been completed quickly and initial work experience. Above all, however, it is important that your mental attitude and your personality is a good fit with the company. In other words, you are able to work independently, you are a team player, and you are willing to accept responsibility. Because Media-Saturn is an international company, you must also have a very good command of the English language.
I have not yet received my degree. Can I submit this later?
Of course. Please include all available relevant certificates with your application. During the course of the selection process, you can submit more recent certificates as you receive them.
Are there any special deadlines that have to be observed when applying?
No, there are no fixed application deadlines for either the trainee programs or for direct entry at Media-Saturn.
Are there fixed starting dates?
As a rule, new employees can start work at any time during the year. In the case of special programs like our trainee programs, there are fixed starting dates. You will find more detailed information under the heading Graduates.
How high is the entry-level salary?
The salary for graduates depends on the area of study, the final degree (university, university of applied sciences or university of cooperative education), the number and duration of the internships and other specialized know-how.
Do you also offer jobs outside of Germany?
If you would like to work outside of Germany, please apply directly to the group’s foreign subsidiary in the country of your choice.
Is an assignment abroad part of the trainee program?
Media-Saturn is an international commercial enterprise with approximately 800 stores in 16 different countries. Therefore, there is always the possibility of an assignment abroad. However, these are not a standard part of the program. Instead, they depend on the experience and background of the individual. This ensures that both the employees and the company actually profit from an assignment abroad.
