IT, Logistics & Organization
The international success of the corporate group depends to a certain extent on the utilization of first-class processes, solutions and technologies that provide optimum support for the workflows in the individual consumer electronics stores. One of the key tasks performed by the IT, Logistics & Organization division is to support business operations at an international level in order to secure business success over the long term. On the one hand, the division performs strategic and process-related functions within the Media-Saturn Holding and, on the other hand, it also provides internal operative services via Media-Saturn IT Services GmbH.
The IT, Logistics & Organization division employs a staff of approximately 450 people, who are responsible for providing assistance to the group’s 16 foreign subsidiaries and over 800 consumer electronics stores with regard to all strategic and operative matters relating to logistics, projects, processes, IT security and innovations. In addition, they look after the entire application landscape - a task that includes everything from selecting the appropriate solution and rolling it out to providing training and support to the more than 60,000 users worldwide. The range of services offered by the division is tailored to the needs of an international retail enterprise.
